Minced chicken stew – Yedoro minchet abish

1 medium chicken
2 cups chopped red onions
½ cup red pepper
2 cups water
2 cup spiced butter
½ tsp minced garlic
½ tsp minced ginger
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp cardamom (Koremina)
Salt to taste

Method

Wash, skin and de bone the chicken.
Mince all the chicken meat.
In a pan on a medium heat, cook onions until soft.
Add the butter, red pepper and salt and cook for 15 minutes.
Add garlic, ginger mixing well.
Add minced chicken and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Add water and all the spices, stirring well.
Cook until the water has evaporated.
